Notable Bollywood artist Krishnakumar Kunnath, prominently known as KK, passed on in Kolkata on Tuesday night, authorities said. The 53-year-old craftsman was in the city for an exhibition at Nazrul Mancha.

He shot to acclaim with his presentation collection Pal in 1999 and proceeded to sing a few well known tunes for Hindi motion pictures during the 2000s and 2010s.

Not long after the program, the vocalist griped of feeling unwell when he was getting back to his lodging around 10.30 p.m. He was proclaimed doomed at a city medical clinic.
He was taken to a confidential emergency clinic in south Kolkata where specialists pronounced him brought dead, they said.
His early life -
Brought into the world in Delhi in 1968, the adaptable vocalist kept melodies in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Bengali, among different dialects.
Starting his vocation in jingles, Kunnath made his big-screen debut during the 1990s. As a playback vocalist, his melodies were named over films, with the entertainers lip-matching up along.
His greatest hits included Tadap Ke, Dus Bahane, Tune Maari Entriyaan, Dola Re Dola from the 2002 film Devdas and Khuda Jaane from the 2008 rom-com Bachna Ae Haseeno.
He likewise delivered two studio collections, 1999's Pal and 2008's Humsafar, and functioned as an adjudicator and coach on reality singing shows.
The posthumous assessment will be performed on Wednesday.
