Dronesare getting very popular these days, you can have hands on a nice one without spending too much money. Here, I'm talking about the remotely controlled flying vehicles with four rotors, not the biggerdronesthat scientists use tostudy climate changeand stuff. Those cost a lot of money.

The principle behind how a drone flies is propulsion and control. Drones use rotors for propulsion and control it at the same time. Suppose, you have a rotor as a fan, because they look pretty much alike. Those spinning blades push air down and when all the forces of blades come in pairs, which means that rotors pushes down on the air and the air pushes up on the rotor and a drone gets sudden upward force which helps it in flying.

Smalldrones are easy to fly and a skilled pilot can hover and fly them in any direction. Drones have become a helpful tool for aerial photography and recording video. Many photographer are using them and hover them up in the air to take breathtaking shots.

Automatons use rotors for drive and control. You can think about a rotor as a fan, since they work basically the equivalent. Turning cutting edges push air down. ... To drift, the net push of the four rotors pushing the automaton up must be equivalent to the gravitational power pulling it down.
