After UPSC, SSC is considered as one of the toughest and most important exams in India. The exam is taken for recruitment in various government offices and ministries. A large number of youth (both graduates and postgraduates) appear for this exam which has given rise to a tough competition. With a very low number of students passing the exam, students prefer extensive and expensive coaching to ensure success in SSC. To prepare for SSC you need to keep some things in mind, like:
• Making a proper time table: Many people prepare for the exam simultaneously with their studies or jobs, which leave very little time with them to study for SSC and it takes many attempts to clear it. To avoid this you need to have a proper time table so that you give enough amount of time to each subject and topic and leave nothing.

• Get used to short cuts: You just can’t break the reasoning questions without getting used to the short cuts. And if you take long to solve reasoning, you’ll not be able to complete the paper in the given time even if you know the other answers.
• Always prepare short notes: This is for quick revisions. Also take online help like videos on certain topics, to know about things in less time.
• Keep practicing: Keep practicing and testing your knowledge with the help of previous year papers and other quizzes.
