Lok Sabha Elections 2019 are just round the corner and even the Elections Code of Conduct has been announced now. It seems, however, that the politicians’ hunger for popularity still doesn’t know any end.
In all these politicians who can do anything for popularity and fame, the one whose name is always floating on the surface, is none other than our honored Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Be it a space mission or some attack on border, our PM is always on the forefront to take the credit.
One more such incident has come forth which will force anyone to wonder if there is any limit to the craving of name and fame.
On railway tickets and boarding passes there is not just the photo of Modi, but it is accompanied by a slogan too. This explains that our current PM is not even hesitating from violating the Elections Code of Conduct. He has already been accused of misusing the government machinery for election campaigning, and EC seems silent on all this. It is ignoring all this very conveniently.
So yes, Modi’s photo on railway tickets and boarding passes is nothing but a part of election campaigning.
