I think China and Pakistan both have a very clear diplomatic strategies against India where China support in back and Pakistan fighting a proxy war in front. We should clearly understand that if we want to solve Kashmir problem we have take of act 370 .

You just gave words to my thoughts! This is what I have been thinking since China shared its condolences with India and condemned the Pulwama terrorist attack.

India lost around 40 of its CRPF Jawans in the Kashmir Valley, and a great number of locals were injured. India could not feel more helpless than at this time, that despite all its efforts to blacklist Jaid-e-Mohammed and its chief Maulana Masood Azhar, India had to pay this price.

Among all the prayers and wishes that are pouring in after the Pulwama Terrorist Attack, China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Geng Shuang said,

"China has noted the reports of suicide terrorist attack. We are deeply shocked by this attack. We express deep condolences and sympathy to the injured and bereaved families. We firmly oppose and strongly condemn all forms of terrorism. We hope relevant regional countries will cooperate to cope with the threat of terrorism and jointly uphold regional peace and stability."

After this statement, China was asked about its stalling of the efforts of the US and India made for the blacklisting of Azhar as a global terrorist in the UN. In 2016, China used its veto power against India’s proposal presented in front of the UNSC 1267 committee.

To this query, the Chinese spokesperson replied very, very diplomatically:

"JeM has been included in the Security Council terrorism sanctions list. China will continue to handle the relevant sanctions issue in a constructive and responsible manner”.

At such a critical moment, the statement could not have been vaguer.

The paradoxical statements made by the side of China on the Kashmir terrorist attack, truly shows how hypocritically it is behaving just to keep up its alliance with Pakistan as strong as ever.

Good thing that at this time, nations like the US, France, and Russia truly stand with India.
