Before taking any concrete decision on who the next leader will be. And is Priyanka Gandhi seen as the image of Indira Gandhi or not?. Priyanka Gandhi has always been associated with congress in a very passive behaviour.

After completing her graduation she regularly visited her family’s constituencies of Rae Bareilly and Amethi where she dealt with people directly. From early stage she is very popular figure from drawing large crowds and popular among crowds. After helping her brother Rahul Gandhi in a campaign for general election 2004 and UP assembly election 2007 she has been rarely present in party affairs. Since then she is in every poster but never in public. She has been influencing and benefiting the party for long from backstage , until 23 JAN 2019 , when she had her stupendous entry into active politics as General Secretary of AICC for eastern UP. Soon after handing a high and responsible post (for which highly experienced persons for long years were neglected) she has been doing great. And they say congress is against nepotism! Her ramification over the members and public is significant. Her rally in lucknow with her brother had proved to be success and great and simultaneously very detriment for BJP. No doubt that due to some recent allegation on BJP(Rafael, Vijay Malya, Lalit Modi, and GST) doesn’t have any good impression on public. The charisma of Modi surely seems to erode day after day. Even though BJP gives any fact or proofs against its shortcoming, whatever it may be but people seems to lose faith in the ruling government. And as for Prinyanka Gandhi she is also in equal pressure to prove herself and to the party. Both Modi and Gandhi family are in tremendous load and heat. Both of them need to prove themselves by any means necessary. Its gonna be a neck to neck competition
