What are some examples of the display of excellent wit in Indian politics?

Although Indian is known for the uneducated politicians overcrowding the ground of politics, there are many Indian politicians who can speak fluently on any subject. Politicians like Yashwant Sinha, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Narsingha Rao, and Pranab Mukherjee are quite scholarly and witty.
In fact, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a poet too. There are many such examples which display his wit in the political dialogues.

• When one Pakistani politician remarked that Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir, Mr. Vajpayee replied that even India is incomplete without Pakistan.
• When Ramvilas Paswan attacked BJP saying that there is “Ram” in his name, Atal Bihari Vajpayee said that there is “Ram” even in the word Haram.
• At one more such incident, someone commented that it takes two hands to clap, and Mr. Vajpayee replied that we can snap with one finger (Mr. Vajpayee giving real Thanos vibes even before Infinity War).
• The latest example is that of the “Chowkidaar” dialogue going on between Congress and BJP. When Rahul Gandhi said “Chowkidaar Chor Hai”, BJP came up with “Mai Bhi Chowkidaar” campaign.
• When someone attacked PM Modi saying to blow mud on him, he said, the more they blow mud on him, the more his lotus will bloom.

Politics is all about how you present yourself to the people. If you are able to woo the people with your words(no matter how you truly mean those words) you stand as a Winner.
Modi is a great orator we all know, no matter how bad he has served as a PM, how intolerance has grown over the few years, how he favoured his parties, how anguished people are from him....But one speech of his and all the issues are twisted for powerfully and witfully that people end up saying yeah he is right. Some of the example of extraordinary display of wit by Modi:
1. When one year of his term as a PM was over, people raised issues over what had he done. He said "You all need to be a little patient, it is a filth created over 60 years can't be undo in just a year or two". Even after almost 5 year of his completion he says the same.
2. During denomination it was the poor and middle class who suffered the most. He said "I know it is a bit problem for the people, but it will remove all the black money and it is you(the middle and the poor strata) who would be benefitted...And the time has come to do the garbage cleaning of the filth created over 60 years. And we all know 99.9%of the money returned to the system.
3. When the campaign against him "Chowkidar chor hai" suddenly got an upfront he cleverly made all the citizens of the country as Chowki dar.
4. When the issue of unemployment was raging, he said foolishly "the one who sells pakoras" is a businessman....Thereby taking the unemployment rate from a record high to zero percent level.
5. When opposition alleged that he is favouring some of his relatives and friends he said "Hum to fakir aadmi h (calling himself as a saint)
There are many more such instances where he talks rubbish but is seen as a wit of an Indian politician.
