After completing science at 10+2 grade, candidates who don't want to pursue their career in the field medicine or engineering then they go for B.Sc in biology or in maths.
There are several good colleges in India for both of these courses.
- St.stephens college: One of the oldest colleges of Delhi University, St. Stephen’s provides ample facilities for the overall development of students. The college not only has a library with over 90,000 books but other facilities such as playing fields for outdoor games (tennis, basketball, soccer, etc.), common rooms for indoor games (badminton, squash, table tennis, gymnastics, etc.), and a gymnasium.
- Loyola college :Spread across 96 acres of land, major facilities that the college offers include a central library (with a collection of over 1,02,000 books, 225 journals, 8,087 e-journals, and 48,146 e-books), men’s and women’s hostels containing about 836 rooms, a recreational centre, a sports pavilion, and a gymnasium.
- Christ University :Department of Science under Christ University offers BSc and MSc programmes to students under different departments such as Chemistry, Computer Science, Life Sciences, as well as Mathematics and Statistics.
- Miranda house:Located in Delhi University’s North Campus, Miranda House is a residential college for women. Its major infrastructure includes a library, auditorium, seminar hall, and lecture hall. The college also has Science museums for students pursuing Botany and Zoology courses, project labs for students pursuing BSc Physics (Honours).
