Aeromodelling is an activity which involves design, development and flying of small air vehicles. It is very exciting way of learning, applying and understanding the scientific principles.

Aeromodelling involves small sized flying objects like radio controlled aircraft, gliders, boomerangs and paper planes. While designing an aeromodel is highly based on engineering principles and flying part is also considered as an expensive hobby.

Aeromodelling is considered as a hobby and pastime of building model airplanes for which the sole purpose is to simply fly them for sport and competition. It is an exciting and interesting way to learn, apply and understand the principles of science and engineering.

The best ways to learn aeromodelling are : you should first study BASICS OF FLYING, BASIC AERODYNAMICS, BASIC AERODESIGN, BASIC ELECTRICALS.

Aeromodelling does not fit in the definition of real sport as it is not a human physical activity.

Model aircraft world championship is major annual international event which lasts for 7 days.

It is a model aircraft is a small sized unmanned aircraft or, in the case of a scale model, a replica of an existing or imaginary aircraft. Model aircraft are divided into two basic groups: flying and non-flying. Non-flying models are also termed static, display, or shelf models.
