The latest video released by Alka Lamba, a member of Aam Aadmi Party is quite significant when seen from the political lens as it reveals the names of two banks of the same state from where our respected Prime Minister hails. According to the report of RTI activist, Manoranjan S Roy the two banks, one from Ahmedabad, and other from Rajkot, deposited the surprising amount of rupees 693 crores and rupees 745 crores in the form of old 500 and 1000 rupee notes within four days of demonetization. The presidents of both these banks have significant positions in the BJP government.

Alka Lamba in the video very sarcastically directs the attention towards the hidden meaning of these shocking facts and the threats that the activist from Mumbai can get in future for revealing this information. The amount of black money which was whitened in “Ahmedabad Zila Sarkari” bank on 14th November 2016 and in “Rajkot Zila Sarkari Bank” at the same time, is questionable from every aspect. The fact that Amit Shah is still the director of Ahmedabad Zila Bank and Jayesh Vitthal Bhai, the president of Rajkot Zila Bank, is a cabinet minister in Gujarat State government, whose CM is Vijay Rupani, also suggests a lot of things. It is worth noticing how Alka Lamba stresses on the fact that country’s PM fought his very first elections from the district of Rajkot.
