However, the team which has registered the maximum number of wins in this shorter format of cricket is Pakistan, they have played 123 matches during the time period of 2006-2018 and registered 74 wins with the winning percentage of 61.38%.

Recently, With the victory against Bangladesh in the T20I tri-series final, the India team has registered the second most victories in the shortest format. India registered 61 wins in 99 T20Is and surpassed South Africa's record of 60 victories out of 103 T20 international matches.
