You must be thinking that it’s Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma, but no. Beyond everyone’s expectations, the highest ranked batsman of India is K L Rahul.
Undoubtedly, the T20 international series in England did a world of good to Indian cricket team. Not only it offered K L Rahul an opportunity for becoming India’s highest ranked batsman, it also took India at the second place in the latest T20 rankings. Rahul made a high jump of nine places in this series, landing himself straight to the third place by his magnificent performance, while Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma hold 12th and 11th rank respectively.
The changing statistics seem satisfactory as it is not only Rahul whose upgraded is upgraded. Rohit Sharma made a jump of two places while Virat Kohli’s rank is upgraded by four places.
