Why did the famous Jain Muni, Tarun Sagar use to be surrounded be controversies always?

The famous Jainmuni, Tarun Sagar died yesterday in Delhi. He was 51 years old and was suffering from Jaundice, due to which he died. But this Jain Guru was less popular for his sayings and teachings, and more popular for his public statements upon various issues. From the ordinary man to India’s Prime Minister, he left no one devoid of his comments and statements. This is the reason he is more infamous, than he are famous. And he has more criticizers than he has followers.
His statement on Love Jihaad
It was recently, that Tarun Sagar commented on the controversial political issue of Love Jihaad and said that it is a conspiracy on the part of Muslims to convert Hindu women into Islam. He even went to the extent to say that if Love Jihaad were not stopped, India would become the second Pakistan.
Other controversial statements on Muslims
It was Muslims whom Tarun Sagar criticized the most. According to him, Indian Muslims are in India, only to criticize the country and they should leave India for Pakistan. He also said that Hindus elsewhere should be called back to India. Further, he pointed out to terrorism saying that India harbors more terrorist than Pakistan and it needs to get rid of terrorism within the country itself.
The issue of Triple Talaq
Tarun Sagar criticized the people in power upon the decision of Triple Talaq, saying that no one cares about women’s rights here and it is for rectifying their own images, that the decision has been taken. He once said that more than ordinary people, India’s Prime Minister and other politicians need my Pravachans and teachings. No matter he is the Prime Minister of the country, he is not greater than him.
Against the Charlatans
On Dusshera, he said that we need to burn those Gurus, instead of the effigies of Ravana, against whom the allegations of rape have been proved correct. They are the real demons we need to destroy.
Gave teachings nude
In Haryana assembly, he gave his teachings nude, and was not even stopped by anyone. For this, he earned a lot of criticism for this, but neither his followers nor the politicians saw it as a big deal. This would certainly have been possible for a woman guru to do, not even in the name of religion.
