The India-Pakistan conflict often takes the shape of border conflicts. Also, India and Pakistan are not the only countries who are always at war with each other. Iran and Iraq, Israel and Palestine, and China and Taiwan are some of the countries who are as well-known as India and Pakistan for their conflicts.

The China-Taiwan conflict is the cause of China’s claims that some parts lying within the boundary of Taiwan belong to Chinese land. Taiwan, however, has not only claimed its land on Taiwan, but on other neighboring countries like India, Tibet, Russia, and Japan.

So keeping all this in mind, it won’t be judicious to compare China-Taiwan conflict with that of India and Pakistan.
Why we should not compare these two pairs of rivals?
The reason lies within the geographical and political differences between the two. First of all, Pakistan has emerged from India itself, and this is not true with China and Taiwan. When it comes to the conflict over borders, India is not at conflict with any other neighboring country except Pakistan, while China’s relationship with almost all of its boundary-sharing nations is bad, and the reason is the border.
Moreover, Taiwan is a fast developing and productive nation whereas Pakistan does not even make it to the list of fast-growing, developing nations. A proxy war has been going on since ages between India and Pakistan on the issue of Kashmir, but Taiwan has never been at war with China.
We can say that China’s policy to claim the regions of its neighboring countries, and it is just because of this policy that the two nations have a conflict with each other.
