Terrorist attack on the CRPF Jawans in Pulwama has now become an issue of historical significance in India. It has been in discussions and controversies since the day of the attack, and has been further stretched by and with the discussion and arguments on the Air Strike that followed the attack as an act of retaliation from this side of the border.

Regarding the Air Strike, PMO says something and the Foreign and Defense ministries say something else. While IAF gives one statement, the BJP leader, and the party’s other ministers direct the gaze towards the efforts made by the Prime Minister and give him all the credit.

All these different versions of the same story have questioned the very existence of the Air Strike now. Before it was said that around 300-350 terrorists were killed in the attacks and after sometime, IAF said they didn’t count how many did they kill.

According to big news reporting platforms like Writer, Telegraph, Washington Times, and Al Jazeera, not even a single terrorist was killed.

Amongst all these different set of information, not just Congress, but many other parties and political personalities have demanded the evidences of the Air Strike from the government. This, BJP, is associating with the image of India’s defense forces and is dubbing is as questioning the very ability of these forces.

Great manipulator as our Prime Minister is, whatever is said to him, is said to the nation, according to him.

So PM Modi is projecting the questioning of the government as projecting of the IAF and that can seriously strike on the patriotic sentiments of Indians. So in a way, even though it is correct, Congress is projecting itself as a villain in front of the public that can be unfavorable for the party at the time of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
