1.All living organisms are made up of one or more cells. In unicellular organism a single cell performs all life functions.

In multicellular organism the cells are specialised to perform certain functions.

2.Cells are consists of the jelly like cytoplasm surrounded by the cell within the cytoplasm is the nucleus it is the control centre of the cell and is surrounded by the nuclear membrane.

3. Organelles such as mitochondria and vacuoles are also present in the cytoplasm.

4. A plant cell has a cell wall and organelles called chloroplast which contain chlorophyll.

Animal cell do not have a cell wall or chloroplast also the vacuoles in a plant cell and large .

5. New cells for growth and repair are formed by cell division.Article image
