An island is a land which is covered from all sides by water be it sea or ocean. It is isolated in the water and to reach an island transportation is by water or air.Peninsula on the other hand is a landmass which is covered by water on three sides but it connected to land from one side connecting it to road and rail transport. India is an example of Peninsula as it is surrounded by Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea on the three sides. Maldives is one of the most beautiful island and visited by tourists because of its clean and clear waters.Letsdiskuss
