With our simple minds and mortal bodies, we can't fully understand how strong Lord Hanuman is. His strength is beyond measure. Just looking at a picture of him can chase away fear and sin, filling us with pure, divine feelings. That's how great and powerful Lord Hanuman is.
His strength comes from his unwavering devotion to Lord Rama. When we follow him, we gain tremendous strength, courage, intelligence, fearlessness, good health, cleverness, and the ability to speak well.
In the Valmiki Ramayana, we learn about Hanuman's amazing qualities. When Rama and Lakshmana first met him and heard him speak, they were amazed by his calmness and ability to speak persuasively. Rama praised him, saying that Hanuman was a scholar in many subjects like Vedas, grammar, poetry, politics, and the arts.
Hanuman was also a remarkable diplomat. His ability to speak was polished through his commitment to truth, hard work, natural talent, studying scriptures, and gaining experience. Even his enemies were impressed when he talked!
The whole Sundara Kandam of Valmiki Ramayana is about Lord Hanuman and his brave deeds.
Hanuman is famous for his physical strength, which is why he's called "Bajrang." "Bajra" means strong, like the thunderbolt of the god Indra. "Anga" means body. So "Bajrang" means someone with a body as strong as a thunderbolt.
In Hanuman Chalisa, it says, "You are a great hero with incredible courage, and your body is as strong as Indra's thunderbolt. You destroy evil thoughts and are a companion of those with pure minds."
