There are no set rules. You can set your own rules. It’s you, who need to identify your limits. The world is full of opportunities. My simple recipe to be rich/successful in today’s world is Work faster, Work harder and Work smarter.

Mr Warren E. Buffet is known for his strategies and discipline to create an empire. Till recently, he was one of the richest men on earth before Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg surpassed his income.

According to a report published globally, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is the richest man on earth. While, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates holds number 2 position in terms of making money. As per the report Zuckerberg now holds 3rd position followed by Berkshire Hathaway chairman Warren Buffett.

Have you heard of the story of thirsty crow in which a crow looks for water everywhere? At last he finds a pot with very little water in it. He tries but he is stuck, his beak cannot reach down the water.
Then the smart crow thinks of a plan. He picks up some pebbles from the vicinity and drops them into the pot. This ultimately brings the water level up. Then the crow drinks water and flies away happily. Well, this age old story leaves us with a moral “work hard and work smart to be successful”. But, this theory does not go in hand in hand today. Because the crow could have found a straw to drink the water, which is of course a faster and smarter way of doing the same thing.

This summarizes my point. Working smart or working hard is passé, these were age old practices. If you really wish to be successful/rich in this era, you need to find out smarter ways, which are more efficient and faster at the same time.

Zuckerberg started Facebook just a few years back, probably when he was just a 20 year boy. Today, he is richer than Warren Buffet, who is probably the most successful self-made man of previous generations. Whatever, you do, do it with full dedication and devotion. Always try to find the faster and robust ways. Find different ways.
