Brush care is a lot more than just daily maintenance. Daily maintenance can be done by taking a wet washcloth, wiping the brush on it, and running it under warm water to rinse.
However, there are some special steps you should take to clean your brushes in bulk - this includes when you've finished using them for one product and want to move onto another (e.g., eyeshadow brushes). The first step is to discard any residual product on the brush; otherwise it will contaminate the new product. Take a small amount of shampoo or soap on your fingers and gently rub against the bristles of the brush head for about 15 seconds in order to break up any oily residues that may have accumulated overtime.
