Narendra Modi introduced many campaigns after coming to power five years ago. He might have held the vision of being a social reformer like Raja Ram Mohan Roy along with being the Prime Servant of the public. A lot of hullaballoo happened on the campaigns like Swaccha Bharat Abhiyaan and Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao. The Modi government spent billions on these extravagant campaigns but the result was not worth the amount spent.
For advertising, Swaccha Bharat Abhiyaan there happened all the necessary and unnecessary publicity activities like cleaning the already clean places and getting it printed in the headlines the next morning.

All the areas where ODF was announced, we can see people relieving themselves in open. Even the campaign was not originally started by BJP. It was the UPA government who introduced it by the name of Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan. The Vidya Balan advertisement of “Jaha soch waha Shauchalya” used to be broadcasted during the rule of Dr. Manmohan Singh. The campaign neither did well at the time of UPA and nor at the time of BJP.
Even the Beti Padhao Beti Bachao campaign was good for nothing except for the advertisement of BJP. Sexual harassment and eve teasing is still on the rise. The only ones who have been benefitted because of this campaign are the NGOs, as they got the chance to make heaps of money.
