Hardly do we get to know of a number of ways by which we strain our eyes that ultimately affects our natural vision. While spending hours glared to screens and twisting our eyes to read out the small fonts, we need to think of improving our eye power through natural remedies.
Here are a few things you can do:
• Eat enough foods rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C and beta carotene like colored fruits (orange, papaya, carrots etc.) and vegetables, eggs and fish.
• Get enough rest to relax your overworked eye muscles.
• Splash water in your eyes keeping them wide open 2-3 times a day. This will freshen up your eyes.
• Every 20 minutes, try focusing on an object 20 feet away for 20 minutes.
• Rub your palms together to generate some heat and place them gently over your eyes. Imagine a relaxing place while doing this.
• Increase your water intake in case you feel blurriness and dryness in your eyes.
• Avoid stressing your eyes for a prolonged time. Take 5-10 minutes break while working on your computer.
