If Mukesh Ambani is the owner of RIL Limited, then who decides his salary, bonus, and everything?

Generally, owners of small or large companies decide their own salary, bonus, and other perks. While nothing is confirmed, it’s likely that Mukesh Ambani, as the owner of RIL limited, too, decides his own financial incentives. He can take as much as he wants.

But the usual practice is that the owners take a very modest and small amount and leave the rest for the business’s growth and the employees. Last year, as per the report of Livemint, planet’s 20th richest man took home a total of Rs 15 crore as salary for the ninth year in a row, which isn’t really much if you compare it with the paycheck of other owners of billion-dollar companies.

As for the bonuses and other monetary perks, I think it depends on how the company is performing and the rate other employees get. I don’t think Mukesh Ambani gets a lot even here. The large part of his fortune comes from his stakeholding in the RIL limited.
