Yes, a dedicated SMTP server is worth it for email marketing because it improves sender reputation and email deliverability. With a dedicated SMTP server, your campaigns are not affected by other senders, which helps emails reach the inbox more consistently.

I’ve tested both shared and dedicated SMTP setups, and honestly, it depends on scale. If you’re sending a small number of emails, shared servers work fine. But once volume increases, deliverability becomes an issue. That’s where dedicated SMTP helps, you get better control over sender reputation and fewer chances of landing in spam. I noticed a clear improvement in open rates after switching. However, it also requires proper setup and monitoring. So it’s worth it only if you’re serious about email marketing, not for beginners just testing things out.
