Is Amazon really destroying jobs and not paying tax as President Donald Trump said so?

“I have stated my concerns with Amazon long before the Election. Unlike others, they pay little or no taxes to state & local governments, use our Postal System as their Delivery Boy (causing tremendous loss to the U.S.), and are putting many thousands of retailers out of business!” This is the EXACT tweet of (Not My) President Trump.

Now coming to your question that whether or not he is right! Well, we all can simmer down. It’s just another of Trump’s morning tweet tirades. Only this time, Amazon is at the receiving end. Much like most of the time, we all should not pay heed to what he is saying and move on with our lives.

Donald Trump is a pathological liar. And what he says MUST always be looked at withskepticism. Yes, Amazon has once collected sales tax in only afewstates (now it does in all states). But why it did that can easily be contested in a court, because tax structure in the country is still vague when it comes to collecting sales tax from a customer in a city where the retailer doesn’t have a physical presence.

This is a well-noted ambiguity on the tax structure which is expected to be clear in the coming months. Again, Amazon now pays proper tax. So the attack of President Trump on Amazon is an old-news and is done selectively with partial facts. He is simply sore of the fact that Washington Post – which is owned by Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon – has always been factually critical of him. He has criticized WP many times for speaking against him. This time, he just extended his attack to another ofMr.Bezos venture.

To think that Donald Trump cares about thejob, tax (he himself doesn’t pay taxes), and US postal service is a joke in itself. Listen to him, give it a good laugh, and continue with your daily life. That’s how you deal with his every morning non-sensible tweets of his.
