The debate about whether Eminem is better than Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. is one of the most common and emotional discussions in hip-hop culture, but the truth is that there is no clear or objective answer. It mainly depends on what you value in music—lyrics, storytelling, influence, or emotional impact.

Eminem is widely known for his technical skill, complex rhyme schemes, and fast-paced delivery. He brought a unique style to hip-hop by pushing lyrical boundaries and using humor, anger, and personal struggles in his music. His songs often reflect deep personal pain, addiction, and recovery, which makes his work very relatable to many listeners. Eminem also broke racial barriers in hip-hop by becoming one of the most successful white rappers in a genre rooted in Black culture.

On the other hand, Tupac Shakur was more than just a rapper—he was a poet and a voice for social issues. His music focused on real-life struggles like poverty, racism, violence, and inequality. Tupac’s strength was not just in lyrics, but in emotional depth and social message. Even today, many people feel his music speaks directly to the struggles of marginalized communities, making his legacy powerful and timeless.

Similarly, Biggie Smalls (The Notorious B.I.G.) was known for his smooth flow, storytelling ability, and confident delivery. Its a matter of point of view, you should construct your sentiment dependent on who you interface with better! As far as aptitude, without a doubt Pac, Biggie and Eminem are legends and their music will never bite the dust.

The Notorious B.I.G - Biggie dropped follows the sort of cleaned specialized abilities nobody had ever heard previously. Simply tune in to "Delicious. His rhyme designs are stunning and he can crush a million words in a few bars. His pleasantry can't be coordinated! He is really a Rap God. Eminem has sold 100 million records.

In his song ‘Till I Collapse, Eminem lists rappers who he feels are best on the scene. In ascending order, it includes Reggie, Jay-Z, Tupac Shakur, Biggie, André 3000, Jadakiss, Kurupt, Nas and then himself.

It itself shows that Eminem considers Tupac and Notorious better than himself. In his interview, talking about these 2 rappers, Em said, “His (Tupac’s) ***** songs felt like something — 'Holy *****, I want to ***** punch someone in the face when I put this CD in.' Biggie told stories. I wanted to do all that *****."

So this question gets nullify when Eminem himself admits that there are greats who are better than him.

But then, of course, as fans we can’t help but compare everyone with our own definite opinion and preference.

However, according to a list of IMDB on ‘Top 10 Best Selling Rappers of All Time’, Eminem ranks at the top, followed by Kanye West, Jay-Z, Tupac Shakur and DMX.
