RO water, according to me, is good for health. I can give my reasons for my statement here. Basically, RO means reverse osmosis water, this technique eliminates the impurities from the water. In addition, there are benefits of drinking RO water as well. However, experts recommend that we should not drink it in large amounts.
It has also been researched that RO water is better than other options as the process removes lead, mercury, arsenic, along with other disease causing elements. At my home, we prefer drinking RO water as it is purified from what we get from the municipal.
However, it is also true that some good minerals from water are also removed during the process of reverse osmosis. Therefore, make sure you are not purifying the water more than what is required. And you can rest is assured that it is a safe drinking water. Here is my suggestion- if you think that the water you are receiving has no much contamination, then get a carbon activated filter along with sediment filter. Even WHO has said that RO water can be used for consumption purposes. So, don’t stress out too much and get yourself a good quality filter from a branded company. Drink water and stay healthy!

Another downside with unadulterated water is that, because of it's a functioning safeguard, whenever it comes in contact with air, it ingests the carbon dioxide. This makes the water acidic. Basically, when you frequently drink this unadulterated water that has turned acidic, you increment the acidic substance in your body too.
