Everybody loves to add tangy flavor while having food. Picklesare spicy and are tasty. They make your food more delicious. In India, there is hardly a kitchen where you do not find pickles. It’s hard to resist them if you are very fond of eating pickles.


But do you know about the darker side of eating too much ofpickles?Most of thepicklesare usually made in India with a lot of oil, spices and salt.Pickles are meant to have a long shelf life and therefore, they are loaded with large amount of oil, salt, vinegar and preservatives. Some pickles are also high on sugar content which may not be good for people who have diabetes and one should always refrain themselves from packagedpickles because they are loaded with preservatives that can increase the triglyceride levels in your body. High triglyceride levels can be a bad news for your health as they can lead to risk of several health problems.


Eating too manypickles daily can also harm your digestive system and you may feel abdominal discomfort, pain and flatulence. However, it is not a bad idea to add taste to your dull food with the help ofpickles, but you should too avoid too much of them.
