Is the split up of Cheryl and Liam Payne related to Cheryl’s mom?

Singers Cheryl and Liam Payne have managed to stay in news throughout their course of relationship. One major reason for this is the age gap between the two. Cheryl is 35 while Liam Payne is 24. Some other reasons are their son Bear, and Cheryl being the judge in the show with which Liam Payne started his career as a singer. All these reasons have a base, but the rumor of their breaking up because of Cheryl’s mother is baseless.

Liam tells the reason behind the breakup is a certain “tenseness” which is normal in every relationship. Media, however, conjectures that it has to do with the age gap and Liam’s faltering career. Both Liam and Cheryl have their own history of ups and downs and media keeps using it to cook up something worth serving to the people. While Cheryl has been divorced twice before getting into relationship with Payne and having a baby, Liam saw his career faltering when the popular boy band One Direction split up.
