Although many people use these terms interchangeably, Essence, Toner, Serum, and Mist are quite different.

· Essence- They are extracted from the plants that are applied to ensure the skin absorbs the nutrients quickly. They smell good and aside from providing a sleek appearance also provide nice smell to your skin.

· Toner- These are basically a lotion applied to cleanse the skin. The regular application ensures the skin pores are closed, giving you a much smoother appearance.

· Serum- They come in plenty of varieties that should be used according to your skin need and health. They are slightly oily and are primarily used o provide skin the rich and essential nutrients.

· Mist- They are to be applied at the last, to give your skin a refreshing and rejuvenated feel. They are like the final touch that completes your appearance.

Of course, on a holistic level (the ingredients that are used, the way they are manufactured, and more), these are very different. So, when buying the skin care products, make sure to know your exact needs and what these items are exactly used for.
