February hasn’t ended yet and temperatures have been soaring more than 30 degree Celsius in the capital of India, Delhi. This has given the signal of the end of winter in the capital. According to weather forecast reports, nights and early mornings are going to be more warmer by the end of this week.

Last year, average maximum temperature was recorded 28 degree celsius but this year February has broken the previou year’s records and the average temperature is around 30 degree. This warmer spell is expected to be continued in the upcoming days.

Temperatures start climbing and in the next two weeks you may turn on fans in your home. The main reason of this is due to dry weather, low rainfall and absence of western disturbances coming into northern plains.

However, weather officials are saying it is expected to have snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and higher plains of Uttarakhand. The northern plains will get some drizzling but don’t expect Delhi to get colder at all.

In what could signal the end of this year’s mild winter in the capital, day temperatures are likely to hit 30 degrees Celsius for the first time in the season on Wednesday, the met department said. Even nights and early mornings are forecast to become several degrees warmer by the end of the week.
There’s a forecast of snowfall in the hills, and rain — even hailstorms at a few places— in the northern plains on Saturday. But the wetweatherwill likely bypass Delhi-NCR, providing just a slight dip in temperatures for the next couple of days, the department said.
