Odisha, a state on the eastern seacoast of India, shares its boundaries with several sections from bordering countries. To the west, Chhattisgarh shares its border with Odisha. The sections of Nuapada, Balangir, Bargarh, and Sundargarh in Odisha have common boundaries with Chhattisgarh.
In the south, the state shares its border with Andhra Pradesh. The sections of Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, and Koraput in Odisha are conterminous to the sections of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
To the northwest, Odisha shares its boundary with Jharkhand. The quarter of Mayurbhanj in Odisha has a common boundary with the state of Jharkhand.
In the north, the state shares its border with West Bengal. The sections of Balasore, Bhadrak, and Mayurbhanj in Odisha are conterminous to the sections of Paschim Medinipur and Purba Medinipur in West Bengal.
These participated boundaries play a pivotal part in indigenous connectivity, artistic exchange, and profitable relations between Odisha and its neighboring countries.
