Kamala Surayya was an Indian English poet and a Malayalam writer. She was born on 31 March 1934 and died on 31 May 2009.
She was from Kerala; she has made few movies also and won lots of award in her life.
Few Movies that She Made – Mazha, Raavanan, Neermaathalathinte pookkal, Raama Raavanan, Ormayilenthum etc.

#3 Sri Aurobindo
Sri Aurobindo was born on 15 August 1872 and he was a poet, guru, philosopher, yogi, and nationalist. He was a freedom fighter against British rule.
This great human being is related to Indian independence history.
He died on 5 December 1950 at the age of 78.
#4 Harivansh Rai Bachchan
Harivansh Rai Bachchan is known as his name ‘Bachchan’ among his fan and follower. This great Indian poet was one of the best poets on that time that was with ‘Nayi Kabita’ movement.
He was born on 27 November 1907 and died on 18 January 2003.
In that midtime, he has created awesome creation in Hindi literature. I just love to study those and love to know more about him.
#5 Nissim Ezekiel
Nissim Ezekiel is an Indian Jewish poet, writer, actor, art critic, and editor. He was born 16 December 1924 in Bombay, British India.
He is special for English poetry in India.
In 1988 he has won Padmashri for his great contribution and won Sahitya Akademi Award in 1983.
This great Indian English poet died on 9 January 2004.
