What are the top 5 events of 2019?
2019 is studded with many global events and fiesta that already promise to make it the best.
After a rather sucky 2018, here are top 5 events of 2019 to look forward to:
(i) ICC Cricket World Cup 2019
Yes, it’s “that” year. ICC World Cup will take place between 30th May and 15th July. It’s the first world cup that India will play under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. All eyes will also be on MS Dhoni, who will likely be playing his last international tournament. Can Dhoni-Kohli create the magic and bring home another world cup? ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is going to be a super-exciting event.
(ii) General Election 2019 in India
Wait, did you think it’s going to be less than an event? NO WAY! There has never been this much of excitement and anticipation for an election in the history of Independent India. A lot is at stake for both BJP and Congress, as well as for the entire nation. Expected to happen somewhere in May, General Election 2019 is sure to be a spectacle not just in India but across the world.
(iii) Avengers: End Game release
The world is waiting for this movie. There’s no denying, it’s one of the most anticipating movies of this generation. The teaser has got everyone stoked and high in excitement. And this isn’t just for the Marvel fans but virtually every movie-goer. In fact, it’s expected that Avengers 4 will break all the records to eventually become the highest earning movie of all time. 26th April 2019 will be the biggest event for all the movie-goers. Period.
(iV) WWE Wrestlemania 35
The Superbowl of wrestling will have its 35th edition hosted in the MetLife Stadium on April 7, 2019. It’s the biggest sports entertainment extravaganza in the world. So, of course, much like every year, it’s going to make all the right noise across the world. BUT what might make WWE Wrestlemania 35 a must-watch is that this might just be the year that legendary The Undertaker finally hangs his boot. So, even if you aren’t a big wrestling fan, you can’t miss WM this year.
(v) Samsung Galaxy X launch
Somewhere in February or March, Samsung is all set to release its Galaxy X. And the company might even reveal more about its foldable phone. But talking about Galaxy X, a lot is expected. Samsung might finally go bezel-less with its new launch, outdoing iPhone’s top bezels. In addition, it might also up its ante with the smartwatches. So, while the event will be extravagant like every year’s, 2019 might see an event that will shake the entire tech world to the core.
