Lagna lord do give bad results when:
Lagna lord is posited in 6th , 8th or in 12th house as these houses are termed as Tic houses which are bad houses in astrology and functional benefic planet being placed in these houses will not able to give good results.
When Lagna lord is afflicted by functional malefic planets in bad house or is afflicted by Rahu or Ketu in bad houses.
