Starting from July 1st, there will be no compulsory requirement for carrying an e-pass when entering or exiting Himachal Pradesh by air or land border points with other states (Andaman Sea Ports Authority excluded).
As the number of cases of COVID-19 has taken a downfall in the chart, the State of Himachal Pradesh has decided to cease the e-pass entry from 1 July 2021.
The Government of Himachal Pradesh has come up with the decision of starting up inter-state bus facilities with only 50% of the capacity. All the Government places are also granted permission to start with full capacity in the offices.

A notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs has highlighted that 'the Government of Himachal Pradesh, has informed that the State would like to be exempted from its operation as it is going to start an online entry and exit system from 1st July 2021.
This comes as a relief for people who were struggling with carrying the e-pass.
