Was Indian Air Force-s Air Strike on Pakistan, violating the LOC, correct?

Yes, the Indian air strike on 26th Feb 2019 is a LOC violation. According to the Simla agreement 1972, between the former president of pakistan, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, and then prime minister of India, Indra Gandhi, it was held that both nations would resolve their matters by peaceful cooperation. Air strike took place beyond the loc which puts it under this criteria and makes Pakistan eligible to condemn India on this ground. Although the move was against a particular terrorist group and not the nation, it does not validate IAF crossing the loc without permissions. Furthermore Pakistan will also be accused under the same category for violating the ceasefire in Kashmir on the evening of 26th February. The Simla Agreement signed on 2nd July 1972 was much more than a peace treaty seeking to reverse the consequences of the 1971 war (i.e. to bring about withdrawals of troops and an exchange of PoWs). It was a comprehensive blue print for good neighbourly relations between India and Pakistan. Under the Simla Agreement both countries undertook to abjure conflict and confrontation which had marred relations in the past, and to work towards the establishment of durable peace, friendship and cooperation.However the recent actions by both the countries are a clear violation of this agreement
