Fertilizers are the natural as well as synthetic materials used to grow plants and soil. It supply plants nutrients. It is widely used in plantation now-a-days. Fertilizers basically contain Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K). In ancient times, the only source of fertilizers is nature. In earlier times, the fertilizers used are compost, animal manure, human manure, harvested minerals and many more. Apart from better production, it also damages surroundings and caused habitat destruction, pressure on biodiversity and agricultural soil loss.

Fertilizers are natural or chemical substances applied to the plants and crops to increase their yield and helps them grow faster. These are used by the farmers and gardeners alike They increase the water retention capacity of the soil and also increase its fruit and flower bearing capacity.

Fertilizers are organic ,chemical or inorganic compounds added to soil as manure for proper growth of plants. It protects plants from pests and diseases too. This reduce their dependence on harmful insecticides and pesticides, producing healthier crops. The fertilizers contain the essential nutrients required by the plants for good growth like the three most important ones, nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus. The potassium content in the fertilizers strengthens the stems and stalks of the plants,The phosphorus helps roots to grow deeper and stronger.nitrogen in the fertilizers increases in the overall growth of the plants which can be identified by the green and healthy growth of the plants.

Fertilizers are substances that provide essential nutrients to plants for healthy growth and higher yield. They help improve soil fertility and replenish nutrients that crops remove during cultivation. Fertilizers can be of two main types: Chemical (Synthetic) and Organic (Natural).
Chemical Fertilizers supply nutrients quickly but can harm soil health if overused. On the other hand, Organic Fertilizers are made from natural materials like compost, cow dung, bone meal, or plant waste. They release nutrients slowly, improve soil structure, and support beneficial microorganisms.
