The easiest and most comforting way to get rid of scabs, from ears or anywhere else, is to apply warm compressing. Of course, putting a dipped-in-warm-water cloth can be slightly inconvenient to put inside your ear. You can do this with a small piece of cloth, holding it with a narrow cimt. Also, it would be better if the warm water is mixed with salt. Saline solutions are a great way to remove scabs.
Next option is using Vaseline petroleum jelly. Apply a little to the scab before sleep; use cotton or soft clothe to apply it. It will keep the area hygienic and moisturized. For this same reason, honey, which is rich in properties, can be a great anti-septic. However, putting it in your ear is a messy deal, so be careful to do it.

Avoid touching the scab all the time. Doing this would infect it further, which can make things worse. Also, don’t do what many others do, that is scratching out the scab. It’s going to be painful, there’ll be spot bleeding and it can cause the infection spread.
If the scab is accompanied by swelling and is painful, you should definitely go and see a doctor. Or at least buy some over-the-counter medicine.
