The simple “trick” to sleep satisfactorily, that today’s generation does not understand, is to sleep sufficiently. You cannot expect to feel satisfied and refreshed if you’re just sleeping 4-5 hours every day. Depending on your age, diet and what you do every day, you need at least 7 hours of sleep every day. It’s essential.
Another “trick” and “hack” of sleeping better is to sleep early. When you sleep early, you will wake up early. And waking up early in the morning will automatically make you feel refreshed and energetic.
Before sleeping, you must learn to switch off your phone. Get rid of the habit where you scroll endlessly till you eventually fall asleep. The lights emitted by your phone is actually harmful to your eyes and health, which comes in way of you sleeping satisfyingly.
If you try and keep your disturbing thoughts away, it definitely helps a lot. If your brain is not at rest, you can’t have a good sleep.
It’s a good idea to chant mantra or remembering the God before sleep to calm down your thoughts.
Also, to sleep better, you need to eat better before you go to bed. Avoid any heavy food. Fruits are best. South Indian foods like Idli and Dosa are a great choice too. And also, eat at least 2 hours before you go to bed.
