I would say one of the main benefits of HTML5 is that it helps to eliminate most <div> tags and replace them with semantic elements. Designers can now use a cleaner and neater code and also HTML5 makes it easier to create front-end application such as drag and drop tools, wikis, discussion boards, and other useful elements
html5 is the advance version of html and it comes with some additional features such as -video, audio ,navigation ,header ,footer and various other features which give us the more priorities as compare to html.
