What declaration has the BSP supremo, Mayawati made before the 2019 elections?

Just before the 2019 elections, Mayawati has declared that SP and BSP are going to form an alliance. So BSP and SP are expected to stand together in this year’s Lok Sabha elections. The impending meeting of Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati in Lucknow, henceforth, is expected to bear fruits in terms of their alliance and division of seats. Mayawati has said that this division will prove beneficial to both the parties.

Mayawati has also talked of linking in other parties. According to her, BJP is currently afraid of the secularist parties. The declaration has made both BJP and Congress vulnerable, as there is large popularity of both SP and BSP in Uttar Pradesh. Akhilesh Yadav has also that he can leave some seats for the good of the alliance.
Right now, both the parties are just talking about the division of the seats, and the official announcement for the alliance will be made later. It was in a rally in Karnataka, in support of the Janta Dal, where Mayawati made this announcement, addressing the public. According to a member of the Janta Dal, Mayawati can get all the secularist parties together for the upcoming elections, and the alliance can change the expected results, which don’t move beyond the BJP-Congress argument.
BSP and SP are expected to fight the election with 37 seats each, after the alliance. Rest of the seats will be given to other parties.
