Scrum is an agile software methodology and a framework. It's designed to enable the development of complex products by cross-functional, self-organizing, and cross-disciplinary teams. Scrum has been applied in many industries, such as healthcare, education and finance.
In software development Scrum is a framework in which a multi-disciplinary team manages the product backlog using an iterative approach with short iterations (typically 1–4 weeks) interspersed with short sprints (2–4 weeks). The team limits work in progress to what can be completed within one Sprint.
