What happens when grasshopper stay in one place without food?

Grasshoppers are very important to environment like other insects and animals grasshoppers also help in natural balance and there waste is a good fertilizer. Grasshoppers can survive for 5-10 days without food. Grasshoppers requires moisture to survive, they get most of the water through the grass they eat. If a grasshopper stops eating it might be difficult to it to survive as it can live 5-10 days without food after that it might be difficult for them to survive.
