Tandoor is also known as tannour,it is cylindrical in shape.It is made from raku clay or metal oven is also used in baking and cooking.It is originated from Persia and is found in some form through central Asia,a charcoal fire is allowed to burn for several hour to heat the tandoor

Tandoor is nothing but a cylindrical oven made of clay.It is an Indian method of cooking over a charcoal fire. There are many famous recipes like tandoori rooti, tandoori chicken that people love to eat. And as an Indian I can definitely say that the taste and flavor of tandoor cooking is amazing and delicate.
