Artificial Intelligence works by using data, algorithms, and computer programming. AI systems study large amounts of information, recognize patterns, and improve their performance over time. This process is often called machine learning, which is one of the most important parts of AI.

Today, AI is used in many areas of daily life. For example, voice assistants like Siri and Google Assistant use AI to understand human speech and answer questions. Recommendation systems on platforms like Netflix and YouTube also use AI to suggest movies or videos based on user interests.

There are different types of Artificial Intelligence. The most common type is Narrow AI, which is designed for specific tasks like facial recognition, language translation, or playing games. Another type is General AI, which is a more advanced concept where machines could perform almost any intellectual task like humans. However, General AI is still mostly theoretical and under research.

AI offers many important advantages. It can:

  • Improve speed and efficiency
  • Reduce human errors
  • Automate repetitive tasks
  • Help in medical diagnosis
  • Support education and research
  • Improve customer service through chatbots
