What is Biography

The most basic definition of a biography is the story of a person who exists or existed. One doesn't have to be deceased to have a biography written on them. Usually, biographies are written of those people who have accomplished something in their life or have done something to change the world. When writing a biography, one thing that there is to remember is that you have to give as many details as possible of that person's life. In addition, when you are writing about someone else's life, you have to do a lot of research from various sources to make sure that the information that you are putting is credible. The Life of Samuel Johnson written by James Boswell in the year 1791 is the earliest known modern biography.
