What is colonialism?

Colonialism is the policy of acquiring full political control over another country. The acquired country is called as 'colonies'. colonisers may impose their wish, religion, culture, language, economics, and own policies. The foreign administration rule over all territory and resources. There are different types of colonisation includes:-

  1. Settler Colonialism
  2. Exploitation Colonialism
  3. Surrogate Colonialism
  4. Internal Colonialism

Settler Colonialism involves immigration on a grand scale, with political, religious and economic factors. Exploitation colonialism focuses on the exploitation of natural resources. Surrogate colonialism involves a settlement project supported by a colonial power. Internal Colonialism is a notion of uneven or even discriminative power structure between different areas of a state.
