Scientists have discovered an interesting yet unique idea of losing weight. It will not require hours on the treadmill or being on a strict diet that makes you shed kilos in months, but rather they developed a technique which can make you lose weight in a short period of time.

Dr.David Prologo,an Interventional Radiologist at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, came up with this unique freezing the hunger nerveweight loss technique. The hunger nerve which also known as the posterior vagal trunk, is responsible for sending hunger signals from the gut to the brain.

This nerve is located at the back of the neck. The group of scientists found that if this nerve is numbed, they noticed a significant change in the weight of a person. To complete the technique, scientists insert a hair-like needle in the nerve. To ensure that the needle is placed at the exact nerve, scientists use a CT scan.

Next, the experts release argon gas from the needle instrument into the nerve to freeze it. This gas is used to bring the temperature of the nerve down. Ultimately, this numbed nerve will send no signal to the brain and you will not unnecessarily feel hungry to eat food.

The strategy takes around 30 minutes. After the patient is calmed, the radiologist embeds a needle loaded up with freezing gas into the vagus nerve, utilizing CT direction. The vagus nerve, the longest and generally complex of the 12 cranial nerves, runs from the cerebrum to the guts and is a principle part of the parasympathetic sensory system, which regulates critical substantial capacities, including assimilation.
