TVS Motors' 'Kargil Calling – Ride for the Real Stars' honours the contribution of India's armed forces. To commemorate the commitment of the Indian Defence Forces, TVS Motor Company has launched a new project called "Kargil Calling — Ride for the Real Stars." It aims to raise awareness of the ongoing and worsening plight of the children in Kargil, Kashmir who are victims of violence, poverty and abuse. According to TVS Motor Company, our defense forces are the real heroes and the ride is the company’s way of recognizing their efforts and contribution in the country’s safety. “Kargil Calling – Ride for the Real Stars” was celebrated by conducting the bike rides all over India around TVS Motor Company’s touch points.

Announced on July 6 2018, on the TVS Star City + website, the event got lakhs of responses and registrations for paying a tribute to the real heroes. People from all over India reached the important landmarks, riding whichever vehicle they owned. The unified enthusiasm and gratitude for the forces was worth witnessing.

All in all the “Kargil Calling – Ride for the Real Stars” campaign was a success. It made us look forward for more such initiatives to thank the unsung heroes of our country.
